This Privacy Policy explains how eXpress Home Services, LLC (“eXpress Home Services,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you visit expresshome.net, ask for an estimate, subscribe to our newsletter, contact us, or use our home repair and remodeling services. This Policy applies to information about individual consumers and households. It does not replace the terms of a signed customer agreement.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We collect information that is reasonably necessary to respond to requests, provide and support home services, administer our business, and operate a secure website. The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

• Contact and request information. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, service address, preferred contact method, requested service, project details, and information you include in an inquiry.
• Customer and service information. This may include estimates, project scope, appointments, communications, signed agreements, invoices, payment status, warranty information, and customer-service records.
• Photos and files you choose to provide. This may include photos of a repair or remodeling need, plans, measurements, or other materials sent with an inquiry.
• Newsletter information. This includes your email address and subscription or unsubscribe preference.
• Website, device, and security information. This may include IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, cookie identifiers, and security or spam-prevention signals.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to respond to inquiries and provide estimates; schedule, perform, document, bill for, and support services; administer warranties and resolve concerns; send newsletters and service-related communications; operate, secure, and improve our website; detect spam, fraud, and security incidents; and meet legal obligations or protect our rights, customers, personnel, and property.

We do not use information from quote forms or service records for unrelated purposes without an appropriate legal basis or, where required, your consent.

4. Website Technologies, Cookies, and Similar Tools

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to support website operation, help protect forms from spam and abuse, and understand how the website is used. • Google Fonts. We use Google Fonts to deliver website fonts. Browser or device information and IP address may be processed in connection with a font request.

Google’s use of information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Jetpack is a service of Automattic; its handling of information is described in the Automattic Privacy Notice. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use information from this website for targeted advertising based on your activity across unaffiliated websites or applications, and we do not make decisions about you through profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. If these practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any notice, consent, or opt-out method required by law.

• A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.

We do not rent, trade, or sell personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes. We require service providers that process personal information for us to handle it only for authorized business purposes and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

6. How Long We Retain Information

We retain personal information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including to provide services, keep required business records, administer warranties, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We may retain information longer if a legal obligation, claim, audit, or dispute requires it.

• Unconverted quote requests and general inquiries: Up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction.
• Customer estimates, contracts, invoices, payment-status records, project communications, and service records: Generally 7 years after project completion or account closure.
• Warranty-related records: Through the applicable warranty period and generally up to 7 years after project completion.
• Newsletter subscription information: Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, unless retention is needed for legal compliance or to document your request.
• Website logs, security records, and analytics data: Only for the period reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, and aggregate website analysis. Third-party retention is governed by the provider’s settings and policy.

When personal information is no longer needed, we delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it, unless law permits or requires us to keep it.

7. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us. You may still receive non-marketing communications that are necessary to respond to an inquiry, manage an appointment, perform services, administer a warranty, or meet legal obligations.

Depending on the law that applies to you and our processing of your information, you may have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Delete personal information, subject to applicable exceptions.

As stated above, we do not currently sell personal information, conduct targeted advertising, or conduct qualifying profiling. Therefore, a separate sale or targeted-advertising opt-out is not currently necessary. We will update this Policy and provide a clear opt-out method if that changes.

How to Submit a Request

Send a request to info@expresshome.net with the subject line Privacy Request, call us at (763) 244-3701, or write to the mailing address in Section 1. Please state the right you want to exercise and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant records. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect your information from unauthorized disclosure or deletion. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf; we may ask for written authorization and information to verify the agent’s authority and your identity.

Where the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act applies, we will respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request. If reasonably necessary, we may extend the response period once for up to an additional 45 days and will explain the extension. We generally provide responses without charge, subject to applicable law and reasonable limits on repetitive, excessive, or unfounded requests.

Appeals

If we decline to act on a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing info@expresshome.net with the subject line Privacy Request Appeal. Please describe why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. Where required by applicable law, we will respond to an appeal within the required period and provide information about how to contact the appropriate regulator. Minnesota residents may also contact the Minnesota Attorney General.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us using the details in Section 1 so that we can take appropriate steps.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information appropriate to the nature of the information and our business. No internet transmission, email, or storage system is completely secure. Please use care when sending information electronically and do not send sensitive information through public forms or unencrypted email.
